Rules in every Bakersfield dog park

• Keep your dog on leash until you reach the off-leash area, then within sight and under voice control.
• If your dog becomes unruly or its behavior changes, leash it, regain control and leave the off-leash area.
• Dogs must show a valid license and current vaccinations, including a rabies tag.
• Clean up after your dog and dispose of the waste properly.
• Supervise children closely at all times, and close the gates behind you.
• Never allowed: female dogs in heat, aggressive or sick dogs, dogs under 4 months, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, motorized vehicles, glass containers, food, and pets other than dogs.
• Parks are open 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., subject to closure.
