Rules in every San Francisco dog play area
- Off leash only inside the dog play area; leash your dog everywhere else, including the rest of the park (San Francisco Health Code 41.12).
- Stay with your dog; you must be physically present at all times.
- Pick up and remove your dog's waste.
- Control excessive barking and noise, and keep your dog from digging or damaging the area.
- Keep your dog's vaccinations and license current. Every dog over 4 months old needs a license and a rabies vaccination (Health Code 41.15 and 41.18).
- Dog walkers are welcome; limit the dogs in your care to eight.
