Rules in every Palo Alto dog park
- Dog parks are open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Dogs must be licensed, vaccinated and wear a collar with ID and license tags.
- Leash your dog until it is inside the dog park, and again before you leave.
- Stay inside the fenced area and watch your dogs at all times; remove an aggressive dog at once.
- Pick up after your dog, and closely supervise children.
- No more than three dogs per person. No food or alcohol.
- Where there is a small-dog section, it is for dogs of 25 pounds or less.
- Everywhere else in Palo Alto parks and preserves, dogs must be leashed (Palo Alto Municipal Code 6.16.100), on a leash of 6 feet or less in open space.
