Rules

Rules in every Henderson dog park

• Dog parks are open 7 a.m. to dusk, or to 10 p.m. where there are lights.
• Leash your dog until you are inside the dog park and again when you leave it. Everywhere else in city parks, dogs must be leashed.
• Dogs must be under voice command and control, with an adult, at all times.
• No more than three dogs per person.
• No food or treats in the dog park.
• Children under 5 are not allowed in the fenced off-leash area, and children under 12 need an adult.
• Clean up after your dog with bags and throw them away; scoopers and rakes are not allowed.
• Remove your dog if it starts acting aggressively.
• Dogs are not allowed on splash pads, except the dogs-only splash pad at the Bark Park.
